Impressive that bunnies just love getting kill-cammed by the great and powerful Orvoiri.
Have you been doing the side quests for the guild, by the way?
... For someone who doesn't own Skyrim, I know way too much about it.
I have not. I have actually been trying to clear out some of the solo sidequests that keep showing up. Cleared White Lady last night, for instance. Totally random thing that I came across trying to get somewhere.
Not the wiki, Let's Play videos. xP I'm going through this one lately.
Gotcha.
Soon as I can get the funds, I plan on it. xP

Indeed! However, I had Serana turn me to get inside the Soul cairn. That will be fixed when I'm done in here though.

*High fives.* Dawnguard ftw. :P
Yeah, kinda hard to keep going through with that otherwise. Got the materials ready to go? Should be easy enough to get ahold of in the Cairn anyway.

Re: Skyrim - Yoyo vs Bano
Into the Soul Cairn
- in which Yoyo gets overly excited about three things:
Fun fact: this is what Orvoiri looks like ATM.
*cool sound effect here!*
Killing things.
Finding horses.
The family business.
Giant soul gem? Yup. That giant floating soul gem dropped my health bar down to less than that.
This guy.
THIS GUY.
I TOTALLY MISSED IT AT FIRST.
I was like, dude, this voice sounds familiar. I guess I just haven't spoken to many Dunmer in Skyrim. He sounds like the Dunmer from Morrowind.
THIS GUY.
THIS GUY.
I had totally forgotten all of the lore concerning Jiub. During Oblivion it's mentioned that he (somehow) drove all the cliffracers from Vvardefell (thank every slightly benevolent god/goddess in Skyrim and beyond). He was killed during the Oblivion Crisis by the daedra, imprisoning his soul in the Soul Cairn.
THEY REUSED HIS VOICE ACTOR.
OH MY GOOD GOLLY GOSH.
Okay, I'm done. Sorry. On to more adventuring.
That is a picture of me. For realz.
Heck yes, I'm a fool, yo. I'm the fool who's gonna save your pasty white vampire butt.
Rude.
Where did I get this from? This is awesome. Like, I need to never go inside again once I use this. Wow.
DRAGON!
Aw.....
Yes, well, I'm just good like that. Considering you and Serana went down three seconds into the fight. >_>
HE'S OKAY! (Scared the crap out of me.)
NICE. New nickname for me, guys. Qahnaarin. That's me.
The way he said this was so smug. He knew full well why he called me that. He's totally lying about not knowing.
What's that? Wait, is it what I came here for?
IT IS.
HELL YES.
HELL. FUCKING. YES.
Re: Skyrim - Yoyo vs Bano
I lost it when I heard that Jiub was in there too. Shame there wasn't more of him in Morrowind.
It'd be nice if they at least put him in a prison, or something. Never played Oblivion farther than an hour, so I never heard any references to him in that game.

Re: Skyrim - Yoyo vs Bano
Woo! I can upload pics again! So! Have A LOT.
More DG stuff!
Non-DG stuff!
Back to DG Stuff! Because, thats how we roll.
After getting out of the Soul cairn Bano thinks its time to fix his problem of being a vamp...with ANOTHER problem! Woof.
More DG stuff!
- Spoiler:
After getting kicked out and having to leave Serana around. Bano sadly returns back to his DG peeps, and they are under attack! Oh noes.
Then I had to leave again! Because, they are jerks and I had to go find other jerks to join us! Geez, can't get a break.
Who the heck are you?
Well, I guess it does not matter who you are now. RIP.
Hey! Random Jerk number one.
Pfft? Deal with Vamps and other big bad guys? Nah man, got to kill a bear first. Yeah.
Why...are we doing this?
Killed the bears and then I took an item from a chest!....THEN....God starts talking to me? Uh..Hi?
Uh..sure. I can do that?
Jerk number two!
I had to find her bag for her before she would help...I mean, really? It was like...five feet from you.
I think Isran is a little....craaaazy. We had to stand in the sun to make sure we were not vamps.
A vamp for me!?!? It can't be!? Gogogogogo
Serana! Guest host, Isran, what can I say. She likes guest hosts.
Looking for the Moth priest so he can read Serana's Elder scroll, after a few leads we might have something!
Into the cave! We're coming mister moth dude.
After saving him from the vamps...we are just going to let him go off on his own. Yeah. Smart plan. For real?
Well, at least he made it. But! Shocker, we have to find two more scrolls! No one saw that coming.
Non-DG stuff!
- Spoiler:
Back to DG Stuff! Because, thats how we roll.
- Spoiler:
After learning we need two more scrolls, we go looking for Serana's mother dearest, because she might have one? Woo.
Trying to be sneaky, Serana failing at that.
I need you to shut up, we are trying to SNEAK AROUND.
I think we just unlocked bullet time, HECK YES.
Well, now you're dead. Next time, don't attack me.
Why would I even want this?
Whats this!? Whats this!?
So uh...you going to help me you know, look for the stuff to unlock the door or not?
Guess not.
Oh, look! I did it, no thanks to you Serana.
Its...really not that clever, I opened it in like, two minutes.
Yes, we sure are. Again, no thanks to you.
What a cool looking..whatever it is!
Jk, its the way into the Soul cairn!
Is this my dudes way of like, hitting on her?
Became a Vamp to get into the Soul cairn. Woo?
Funny bug.
Into the soul cairn!
Random cool pics showing off the Soul cairn!
Arvak!!! Oh wait. I can't summon him because I lack the mana...
Mother dearest.
Shiny! Lets jump in!
Woah.
Well this looks very boss room like.
Yup.
Got him!
Uh..wait, what?
Oh..hi..mister dragon I just killed.
I know right?
I can summon a dragon now!? HECK YES.
Well, later man. I'll summon you sometime soon!
After getting out of the Soul cairn Bano thinks its time to fix his problem of being a vamp...with ANOTHER problem! Woof.
- Spoiler:
Fight club?
Well, to be honest, I don't really care about joining...I just want the perks.
Woah dude, chill out. I'm cool.
AND YOU WHERE JUST TALKING CARP ABOUT ME, AT LEAST I CAN USE A DOOR.
Him him once and we gave up. Best duel ever?
Haaaalp, I've locked myself in!
Oh no! Look out behind you!!!
Wait...what!? You're a werewolf!? How could you Farkas, I thought we were buddies.
Boss room?
Yup.
Woo! They let me join!
Sure man.

Jiub was released at the same time you were. In an attempt to repent for his past misdeeds (he was an assassin who got caught), he got rid of the cliff racers. I forget which god it was at the moment, but one of 'em was like "You go dude" and got him canonized. It's Saint Jiub after Morrowind. He's only mentioned a couple times in Oblivion.

Ah, didn't know if he was being released or just going somewhere else for finishing his imprisonment.

Re: Skyrim - Yoyo vs Bano
I did a lot of research into him last night while I was waiting for my pics to upload.
Yeah, apparently he started out in Morrowind (his is a Dunmer, after all). He got caught in a trap by an assassin hired by the Morag Tong. Imprisoned in Morrowind originally, then moved to the Imperial City (where your characters starts). For whatever reason, he gets moved back to Morrowind with you and released. I'm...not sure why they released an assassin, but they did. But he felt bad about it and did the best thing ever, so... Must have been released early for good behavior. :P

Murder is only a 1,000 fine. They let everyone out eventually, I'm sure. xP
Considering the events that take place with your character in Morrowind at the beginning, it might have been decreed by the emperor?

But he did assassinate, like, dozens of people. He was going for one of the heads of one of the Houses when he finally got caught. I mean, if the Morag Tong were contracted to kill him... *shrug*Poe wrote:Yoyo wrote:I did a lot of research into him last night while I was waiting for my pics to upload.

Just saying, aside from a particular prison in Skyrim, I don't think lifetime imprisonment is really a thing?

But if the player were imprisoned for life, that'd kind of ruin the game, y'know? :P

I assumed that the time served (1 day for every 100 gold bounty) was simply made worse for NPC's. Not necessarily "life imprisonment" so much as "I'm likely to die before my time has been properly served." Then, you know, repeat offenders and whatnot. xPYoyo wrote:No, there are some characters who are in for lifetime sentences.

Just imagine having to literally break rocks the entire time in Morrowind for a 4k bounty? (5k was death warrant, I think?)Banouin wrote:Yoyo wrote:No, there are some characters who are in for lifetime sentences.

Circumstances depending, I actually try to go through the TES games without alternate traveling means. Some of them are just ridiculous abusing it otherwise.
Like the Pilgrimage of the Seven Graces, or the one where you have to take the vow of silence.
