I assumed that the time served (1 day for every 100 gold bounty) was simply made worse for NPC's. Not necessarily "life imprisonment" so much as "I'm likely to die before my time has been properly served." Then, you know, repeat offenders and whatnot. xP

Just imagine having to literally break rocks the entire time in Morrowind for a 4k bounty? (5k was death warrant, I think?)

It's like the mod where you get to watch the carriage in Skyrim move from town to town.
Or the mod where you actually ride the Stilt Strider from town to town.
...I'm sorry, those would only be fun for the first couple times. After that, I'd just want to arrive and move on with life.

Circumstances depending, I actually try to go through the TES games without alternate traveling means. Some of them are just ridiculous abusing it otherwise.

Like the Pilgrimage of the Seven Graces, or the one where you have to take the vow of silence.

Which one would fail as the Dragonborn. :P

I am really bad about quests in Morrowind. Like, I just don't do them. I tend to focus way too much on my non-combat skills and earn lots of money when I play...

I think the Temple was my favorite quest-line, but I also enjoy the Imperial Cult and Imperial Legion. Morag Tong was okay, though.

I think stealth was always a big problem for me in Morrowind. Full sneak skills and it still proved to be problematic at times. DDO and Skyrim's stealth systems are certainly a bit more... I think the word I'm looking for is immersive.

Before I forget, Bano's screenshots reminded me of something.

Skyrim seems to make everything so urgent. In Morrowind they're like, "Yo, I need this done. If you're not strong enough, no pressure. I'll live for centuries anyway, it's amazing how patient it can make you."

Skyrim just holds a dagger to your throat from one quest into the next.

In the beginning of the main quest for Morrowind, when you ask for advice he more or less tells you, "If something's too big for you to handle, come back to it later." The same guy also has level restrictions for quests. So if you do his first two quests, if you're not level 3, he won't talk to you until you are.

On a side note, I LOVE the royal vampire armor. Dislike the vampires, but love the armor.

The Royal Vampire armor is pretty fantastic. I really wish the Archmage's Robes looked as cool. (I'll be switching to those when I complete the College questline. Potentially the Master destruction robes, but probably Archmage.)
I might look into a mod that changes their appearance to something less poncho-like.... Or just overwrite the texture with the Royal Vamp. Armor. :P

I was thinking of just changing the armor's effects. Possibly including a hood or something for set bonus? However, I prefer the Dawnguard over the Vampire clans, so.... Like my last post, I'm considering a small quest line in the Temple dedicated to the eradication of the Vampire clans. >.>

For now, though, I'm editing other stuff... But I prolly should put this in another thread. xD

I was literally in the process of adding a note about warning about spoilers while this conversation was happening.

I started using spoilers simply because I take way too many screenshots and it would take an eternity to scroll through each page without them.
