MERMAIDS - Yoyo-Jan-Yoshii

Mika swam enthusiastically, darting here and there, around the new mermaid. "Oooooh, very pretty! I would love those too, Sophia!"

She grinned, feeling more at ease now. She wondered who the mermaid was, though, and stared.

"Okay, okay, let's get some things settled. Number one, some space, please," Orianna swims from between the two girls, "Two, just because we sent a Angler hurtling back to its home, doesn't mean we're buddy-buddy. And three, this is my job. So go find loot on your own. You're lucky I believe in fair game, sometimes."

With that, Orianna collects the rest of the jewelry from its deceased owners and begins to swim towards another level in the decrepit ship.

"Well that was rude," Sophia humped. She crossed her arms and stuck out her bottom lip for a moment.

"That's no way to treat the people who just saved you from an angry fish that you made angry in the first place!" she hollered after the strange girl, thoroughly offended. "Seriously. A thank you would have been the least she could do."

"Yeah! A thank you would have done just great!" Mika huffed. "What should we do, Sophia?" She blinked. "We have to find treasures harder or she'll get them all!"

Orianna ignores the comments of the two friends. The truth is, she is rather appreciative, but her job comes first. She's already wasted time with the Angler beast.

Orianna continues to travel the upper levels of the ship, not finding as much riches as she did initally. Sneering at the lack of loot on this level, she is about to proceed to another. The only thing that stops her is a strong glare from a collapsed area.

"Hmmm, I wonder what lurks there," Orianna says with a grin. This time, however, she approaches with her blade drawn. If this is another Angler, at least she will get the first strike.
