Yes, Homestucks have some fantastic cosplays.

As far as whether or not you're missing out... I dunno. I am personally glad I started reading the series. The characters (all fifty billion of them) are all incredibly human (despite only approx. a dozen of them actually being human..?) The plot is horribly convoluted, but makes sense at the same time? It's... A huge pile of contradictions and paradoxes, but it's a lovely pile?
It sucks, but it's the best. I dunno. I got just deep enough into the fandom to enjoy myself without dealing with the annoying side of it.

I may check it out to further my procrastination. Although honestly Yoyo I am mesmerized by your ava.

It's currently over 9300 pages of reading.
Some pages are just a picture.
Other pages have thousands of words of dialogue.
(And then there are the flashes. )

Good luck reading it as part of procrastination.
(Also, you have to make sure you get to at least Act Two before you are allowed to quit. It's slow until around there.)

I have read a bit of Homestuck, but I'm absolutely not caught up on it. In fact, if I were to begin again, I would never catch up with the series. I know that the plot is amazingly convoluted, and that is always my favorite type of plot. I've tried to get into it, as said, but it's literally so much that I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get into it without getting derision.

Derision from where? Well... the community, haha. I like to talk about things I've seen in works of fiction with a community, and when I'm so far behind that it hurts and I bring up something that amazed me, I'm usually met with comments that boil down to "yeah, we all thought that was cool, get with the times" - that's being kind. Perhaps this is just paranoia, but that's just experience in gaming communities keeping me from diving into something already well-established.

Sort of like a "you had your chance and you lost it, don't come here".
