Games Are Hard...

This is a list of video games that I play/have played and recommend to others. With each of these games, I'll state my game ID and progress so that if you want to nudge me anywhere in there, you can do so.

Warframe
You play as a Tenno, a species of alpha warriors who have mastered the art of blade and gun, woken from cryosleep by the mysterious Lotus to fight against an advancing fascist empire of degenerates, a megacorporation which is seeking control of all trade through death and violence, and a disease spreading that threatens to wipe life from the solar system. You don the titular Warframe, an exo-armor that grants the user various abilities, and fight for whatever cause you choose; savior or mercenary.

ArcheBlade
You are given a choice of different fighters, whose attacks and combos specialize in different areas, and fight for supremacy in a variety of arenas.

Pokemon Showdown
An extremely advanced Pokemon Battle Simulator that is used for competitive battling.

Y is great, too. It's the first Pokemon DS game I finished. (This includes having a copy of HG and Platinum.... I suck.)

I would kill to play X/Y. I'd kill Yoyo, in fact.

That seems like an equivalent exchange there Banouin.

Pokemon X & Y where fun when you played without the exp-share. Mind you, it's great for leveling, but it made things way too easy. Plus the stupid stone emporium not allowing you to buy actually needful stones. I really just wanted to be stoned :(

Jay, is GTA V as good as some of the incredible videos show, like that one about the underwater life documentary: ?

I have wanted to get it for PC if it ever comes out, and steam seels it for cheap because it looks like a game with incredible girth.

Exp. Share is screwing me over slightly in ORAS. My late addition Froslass is struggling to catch up with the rest of the team and keeps dying. Can't just hand it to her until she can hold her own. No. I have to ditch all but one of my 'Mon is I'm gonna do standard Exp. Share training. >_>;;

Bano, if you kill me over my game, then you probably should have just spent your money on it instead of hiring an assassin.

I always just use the Blissey Secret base training, or rebattle other trainers. Also, does ORAS have frost breath as a tm, or move learner? Because that on Froslass does some serious damage. I used one in X & Y and it was super dominant. I still have that sucker at level 100 (but to be fair I have like 20 lvl 100s now, but I don't EV train, though I gave my roommate an adament Archeops or whatever it is its pre-evo thing is, and he ev trained it, and apparently wrecks everything :0 )

You should try and find bird trainers and rebattle them, and kill them with an Ice move, over and over again.

I... Don't remember how my Froslass learned Frost Breath. It must be a TM.

She finally sort of caught up. Just gotta remember to heal her every so often. I'm currently scouring the ocean for every trainer around. (I've been really slow about getting through the plot. I've played Emerald at least four times.)
She did, however, completely stomp Liza and Tate in Mossdeep. I've never managed that. Ever. She pwned.
(Well, her and my Absol. Absol slaughters everything it looks at.)

Do you mega-Absol? That thing is super precious, and a deadly monster. Frost Breath does more damage than blizzard, it is insane. PLus dhadow ball and I can see how you'd beat Liza and Tate. Though, even though I've put in like 100+ hours on Oras, I haven't even explored every area in the game, and I've skipped a few water routes.

You just gave me nightmares over that monstrosity called EXP. ALL.

I don't have the Absolite yet. My plain-jane Absol is death incarnate. It's fantastic. Too bad it only recently gained the attacks to compliment its ATK stat.

She Frost Breath'd Lunatone in one hit. Absol used Night Slash, I believe. One turn.

My team this time around is strictly Pokemon I wanted to use. I ignored their stats and movepools, which is hard for me to do.
So all but one (Froslass) of my team is capable of mega evolution. Luckily, only three of the five can at the moment.

Poe, Exp. all on super saiyan steroids maybe. Plus farming lucky eggs off of Pelippers.

i wish that ORAS had like re-boss fights, with better teams because TBH them gym fights were pretty lackluster. As a kid when Ruby & Sapphire first came out, they were tough, but now, it's a breeze. I have to like implement stict rules when fighting them, it's poopy because their teams just aren't that hard.

Do they not have gym leader rematches? That's something that's been in every game since at least the DS games. O_o

You can battle them at the battle Maison somehow, but I don't consider that a true rematch.

Nuzlockes are always something I've wanted to try, but have never had the drive to do them. I've only done one I think, a randomizer nuzlocke, and I don't thin I even finished that one.

Lucky Eggs? I was just talking about the pre Exp. Share item that was in generation one because held items weren't invented yet. Sure, you get to give the entire team experience, but at the end of the battle, it was like 50 Exp at the most. No bueno.

From what I can tell, Gym Leaders, in canon, have to use a specific team of Pokémon based off of the experience of the trainer. This is why they all have scaling levels in their Pokémon.

However, I think it's based more on badges, rather than actual Pokémon level.

It would be nice to just have a full on level 100 battle against all of the Gym Leaders and that the Elite Four and Champion get to that point after a run or two of going through it.

The Lucky Eggs thing sounds like what I did for Moon Stones on Pokémon Sapphire. Blasted Lunatone.

I used an emulator and Nuzlocked so many games... It can be heartbreaking. Towards the beginning you just kind of accept that you're going to lose teammates, but when you start getting later in the game and start losing the ones that have been with you a while? Man.

Ah. I haven't gotten far enough quite yet to get into the meta game for that part.
